Chef Louis Ray

Chef Louis Ray has been an executive chef and caterer Since 2006 working for/with local catering companies in the Houston Heights area. Cooking for places such as the Alley Theater and the Houston Symphony, to name drop just a couple.

Louis has prepared food for the masses of youth as well, working as executive chef for a prestigious private school in Pearland, Texas and head chef for a world known summer camp (M.T.C.) Maine Teen Camp. His work is featured in magazines and publications such as Houston’s “Hater Magazine” which shows how to eat healthy on a budget to “Penn Live” and “The Burg” from Pennsylvania, for his work while he was executive chef of (HMAC) Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, serving up Pennsylvania preferred and Southern-inspired fast casual, chef-prepared, meals including best onion rings. After moving back to Houston, Louis kicked cancers butt and is thriving by being a positive cancer survivor.

He is part of the LGBT community and part of E.R.S.I.C.S.S.(Empire of the Royal Sovereign and Imperial Court of the Single Star), a charity organization that gives back to its community. He is also the co-head chef of a major LGBT resort-summer destination (10 days in August) with “Camp Camp” in Maine. This U.S. Navy veteran has been all over the map, which has helped him with his inspiration in creating some fantastic menus. All of this is now put into his new catering company (which he shares ownership with Brian Best and C J Dillan). Look out Houston, you are about to be Devoured!
